svxlink-gpio is:

This package contains the GPIO control scripts for general purpose I/O
for the SvxLink suite. SvxLink provides access to a ham radio
transceiver via the EchoLink? protocol.

EchoLink? allows licensed amateur radio operators to communicate
over the Internet, including remote access to station equipment.
By connecting into a server connected to a repeater, an operator
can call into a local radio net via the Internet while traveling
out of the area. EchoLink? is a registered trademark of
Synergenics, LLC.

There are three methods to install svxlink-gpio on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install svxlink-gpio using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install svxlink-gpio

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install svxlink-gpio using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install svxlink-gpio

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge svxlink-gpio
