on Kali Linux.
What is t1-xfree86-nonfree
t1-xfree86-nonfree is:
Collection of Postscript Type 1 fonts originally part of
the XFree86 distribution, but which are licensed under terms
incompatible with the Debian Free Software Guidelines, and thus cannot
be distributed as part of Debian.
The fonts are:
- IBM Courier
- B&H Luxi Mono
- B&H Luxi Sans
- B&H Luxi Serif
Other non-free fonts are in the separate packages ttf-xfree86-nonfree
and ttf-xfree86-nonfree-syriac.
There are three methods to install t1-xfree86-nonfree
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install t1-xfree86-nonfree
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install t1-xfree86-nonfree
How To Uninstall t1-xfree86-nonfree on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the t1-xfree86-nonfree
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove t1-xfree86-nonfree
Uninstall t1-xfree86-nonfree And Its Dependencies
To uninstall t1-xfree86-nonfree
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove t1-xfree86-nonfree

configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge t1-xfree86-nonfree

We can use the following command to remove t1-xfree86-nonfree
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge t1-xfree86-nonfree
