Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install t2html on Kali Linux.
What is t2html
t2html is:
Convert text file into HTML 4.01/CSS2 format. The is written in
natural white paper format by using standard headings and indented
paragraphs at standard tab position column 8. The text can contain
ASCII =markup= `tokens’. Embedding HTML is also possible via INCLUDE
directives. This utility predates similar Python-based asciidoc.

There are three methods to install t2html on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install t2html Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install t2html using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install t2htmlInstall t2html Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install t2html using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install t2htmlInstall t2html Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install t2html using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install t2html
How To Uninstall t2html on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the t2html package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove t2html
Uninstall t2html And Its Dependencies
To uninstall t2html and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove t2html
Remove t2html Configurations and Data
To remove t2html configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge t2html
Remove t2html configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove t2html configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge t2html
