Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install taglog
on Kali Linux.
What is taglog
taglog is:
Taglog is designed for anyone who spends most of their day sitting
at a computer, working on various projects. You can make notes about
what you do, as you go along, associating them with the projects you
work on. At the end of the week you can produce a report of how your
time was spent, broken down by project for booking purposes. You can
view previous entries, by date, or by project. You can enter the
actions you intend to take, associate them with a project, and mark
them as active, or complete.
There are three methods to install taglog
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install taglog Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install taglog
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install taglog
Install taglog Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install taglog
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install taglog
Install taglog Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install taglog
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install taglog
How To Uninstall taglog on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the taglog
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove taglog
Uninstall taglog And Its Dependencies
To uninstall taglog
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove taglog
Remove taglog Configurations and Data
To remove taglog
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge taglog
Remove taglog configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove taglog
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge taglog
