subscription is provided along with service calls and discovery.
Ignition Robotics is a set of simple libraries that provide useful
functionality to bootstrap robot applications. The included libraries
encapsulate all the essentials, such as common math data types, console
logging, 3D mesh management, and asynchronous message passing.
The package ships the ignition transport client tools
There are three methods to install ignition-transport-cli on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ignition-transport-cli Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ignition-transport-cli using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ignition-transport-cli
Install ignition-transport-cli Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ignition-transport-cli using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ignition-transport-cli
Install ignition-transport-cli Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ignition-transport-cli using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ignition-transport-cli
How To Uninstall ignition-transport-cli on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the ignition-transport-cli package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ignition-transport-cli
Uninstall ignition-transport-cli And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ignition-transport-cli and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ignition-transport-cli

To remove ignition-transport-cli configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ignition-transport-cli
Remove ignition-transport-cli configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ignition-transport-cli configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ignition-transport-cli
