on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is libfreeaptx0
libfreeaptx0 is:
libfreeaptx is based on version 0.2.0 of libopenaptx with the intent of
continuing under a free license without the additional license restriction
added to libopenaptx 0.2.1.
The initial version of libfreeaptx was reset to 0.1.0 to prevent confusion
between the two projects.
There are three methods to install libfreeaptx0
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libfreeaptx0 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libfreeaptx0
using apt-get

sudo apt-get -y install libfreeaptx0
Install libfreeaptx0 Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libfreeaptx0
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libfreeaptx0
Install libfreeaptx0 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libfreeaptx0
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libfreeaptx0
How To Uninstall libfreeaptx0 on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the libfreeaptx0
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libfreeaptx0
Uninstall libfreeaptx0 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libfreeaptx0
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libfreeaptx0
Remove libfreeaptx0 Configurations and Data
To remove libfreeaptx0
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libfreeaptx0
Remove libfreeaptx0 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libfreeaptx0
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libfreeaptx0
