libfreenect0.5 is:
libfreenect is a cross-platform library that provides the necessary interfaces

accelerometer and LED and provide binding in different languages (C++,

open community of people interested in making use of the Xbox Kinect hardware

This package contains the shared library of libfreenect.
There are three methods to install libfreenect0.5 on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

How To Uninstall libfreenect0.5 on Ubuntu 22.04

To remove libfreenect0.5 configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libfreenect0.5
Remove libfreenect0.5 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libfreenect0.5 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libfreenect0.5
