What is libgeos-doc
libgeos-doc is:
GEOS provides a spatial object model and fundamental geometric
functions. It implements the geometry model defined in the
OpenGIS Consortium Simple Features Specification for SQL.
This package contains the documentation for the GEOS API.
There are three methods to install libgeos-doc
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install libgeos-doc

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libgeos-doc
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install libgeos-doc
How To Uninstall libgeos-doc on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the libgeos-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libgeos-doc
Uninstall libgeos-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libgeos-doc
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgeos-doc
Remove libgeos-doc Configurations and Data
To remove libgeos-doc
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libgeos-doc
Remove libgeos-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libgeos-doc
