This is a simple “libraryfication” of the GFF/GTF parsing code that is used in
the Cufflinks codebase. There are not many (any?) relatively lightweight
GTF/GFF parsers exposing a C++ interface, and the goal of this library is to
provide this functionality without the necessity of drawing in a heavy-weight
dependency like SeqAn.

There are three methods to install libgff-dev on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libgff-dev Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libgff-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
