In this tutorial we learn how to install acme-tiny-core on CentOS 8.

What is acme-tiny-core

Includes only the core acme_tiny.py script and its dependencies. Alternate frameworks that use acme_tiny.py can install this to avoid pulling in unneeded packages.

We can use yum or dnf to install acme-tiny-core on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install acme-tiny-core.

Install acme-tiny-core on CentOS 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install acme-tiny-core using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install acme-tiny-core

How To Uninstall acme-tiny-core on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the acme-tiny-core package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove acme-tiny-core
