Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install bind-pkcs11-libs on CentOS 8.
What is bind-pkcs11-libs
This is a set of BIND libraries (dns, isc) compiled with native PKCS#11 functionality. bind-pkcs11-libs 32 9.11.26 4.el8_4 x86_64 1.1 M bind-9.11.26-4.el8_4.src.rpm appstream Bind libraries compiled with native PKCS#11 https MPLv2.0 This is a set of BIND libraries (dns, isc) compiled with native PKCS#11 functionality.
We can use yum or dnf to install bind-pkcs11-libs on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install bind-pkcs11-libs.
Install bind-pkcs11-libs on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install bind-pkcs11-libs using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install bind-pkcs11-libs
Install bind-pkcs11-libs on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall bind-pkcs11-libs on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the bind-pkcs11-libs package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove bind-pkcs11-libs
