What is bitmap-lucida-typewriter-fonts
The bitmap-fonts package provides a number of bitmap fonts selected from the xorg package designed for use locations such as terminals.
We can use yum or dnf to install bitmap-lucida-typewriter-fonts on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install bitmap-lucida-typewriter-fonts.
Install bitmap-lucida-typewriter-fonts on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install bitmap-lucida-typewriter-fonts using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install bitmap-lucida-typewriter-fonts
