Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install brotli-devel
on CentOS 8.
What is brotli-devel
Brotli is a generic-purpose lossless compression algorithm that compresses data using a combination of a modern variant of the LZ77 algorithm, Huffman coding and 2nd order context modeling, with a compression ratio comparable to the best currently available general-purpose compression methods. It is similar in speed with deflate but offers more dense compression. This package installs the development files brotli-devel 1.0.6 3.el8 x86_64 31 k brotli-1.0.6-3.el8.src.rpm appstream Lossless compression algorithm (development files) https MIT Brotli is a generic-purpose lossless compression algorithm that compresses data using a combination of a modern variant of the LZ77 algorithm, Huffman coding and 2nd order context modeling, with a compression ratio comparable to the best currently available general-purpose compression methods.
