What is ifp-line-libifp
ifp-line-libifp is:
This package contains a tool compatible with the `ifp’ program (in the
ifp-line package) that uses libifp.
ifp-line tool manages music on iRiver iFP audio devices, including
the 1XX, 3XX, 5XX, 7XX, 8XX, and N10 models. It lets you upload or download
music or other files to or from the device, manage directories on it, or
update your firmware version.
There are three methods to install ifp-line-libifp
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ifp-line-libifp Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ifp-line-libifp
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ifp-line-libifp
Install ifp-line-libifp Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ifp-line-libifp
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ifp-line-libifp
Install ifp-line-libifp Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ifp-line-libifp
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ifp-line-libifp
How To Uninstall ifp-line-libifp on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the ifp-line-libifp
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ifp-line-libifp
Uninstall ifp-line-libifp And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ifp-line-libifp
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ifp-line-libifp
Remove ifp-line-libifp Configurations and Data
To remove ifp-line-libifp
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ifp-line-libifp
Remove ifp-line-libifp configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ifp-line-libifp
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ifp-line-libifp
