What is libapr-memcache-dev
libapr-memcache-dev is:
apr_memcache is a client written in C for memcached, the memory object
cache daemon. It uses the Apache Portable Runtime to provide pooled
client connections in a thread-safe manner, making it perfect for use
inside Apache modules such as mod_gnutls.
This package provides the development files for apr_memcache.
There are three methods to install libapr-memcache-dev
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libapr-memcache-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libapr-memcache-dev

Update apt database with apt

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libapr-memcache-dev
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libapr-memcache-dev
Install libapr-memcache-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libapr-memcache-dev
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libapr-memcache-dev
How To Uninstall libapr-memcache-dev on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the libapr-memcache-dev
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libapr-memcache-dev
Uninstall libapr-memcache-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libapr-memcache-dev
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libapr-memcache-dev
Remove libapr-memcache-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libapr-memcache-dev
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libapr-memcache-dev
Remove libapr-memcache-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libapr-memcache-dev
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libapr-memcache-dev
