libatf-dev is:
The Automated Testing Framework (ATF) is a collection of libraries
to implement test programs in a variety of languages.
The test programs can be written in C, C++, or POSIX shell.
Kyua is the preferred execution engine for ATF test programs.
This package ships files required for developing test programs.
There are three methods to install libatf-dev
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libatf-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libatf-dev
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libatf-dev

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libatf-dev
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libatf-dev
Install libatf-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libatf-dev
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libatf-dev
How To Uninstall libatf-dev on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the libatf-dev
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libatf-dev
Uninstall libatf-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libatf-dev
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libatf-dev
Remove libatf-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libatf-dev
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libatf-dev
Remove libatf-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libatf-dev
