acedb-other-belvu is:
This is a transitional package to ease upgrades to the new belvu
executable now maintained in the seqtools source package. The
belvu executable in the acedb package was unmaintained for years
and seqtools contains the maintained code.

There are three methods to install acedb-other-belvu on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install acedb-other-belvu Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install acedb-other-belvu using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install acedb-other-belvuInstall acedb-other-belvu Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install acedb-other-belvu using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install acedb-other-belvu using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install acedb-other-belvu
How To Uninstall acedb-other-belvu on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the acedb-other-belvu package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove acedb-other-belvu

To uninstall acedb-other-belvu and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove acedb-other-belvu
Remove acedb-other-belvu Configurations and Data
To remove acedb-other-belvu configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge acedb-other-belvu
Remove acedb-other-belvu configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove acedb-other-belvu configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge acedb-other-belvu
