What is allelecount

allelecount is:

Support code for NGS copy number algorithms. Takes a file of locations
and a [cr|b]am file and generates a count of coverage of each allele
[ACGT] at that location (given any filter settings).

The alleleCount package primarily exists to prevent code duplication
between some other projects, specifically AscatNGS and Battenberg.

There are three methods to install allelecount on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install allelecount Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
