What is aplus-fsf
aplus-fsf is:
A+ is a powerful and efficient programming language. It is freely
available under the GNU General Public License. It embodies a rich set
of functions and operators, a modern graphical user interface with
many widgets and automatic synchronization of widgets and variables,
asynchronous execution of functions associated with variables and
events, dynamic loading of user compiled subroutines, and many other
features. Execution is by a rather efficient interpreter. A+ was
created at Morgan Stanley. Primarily used in a
computationally-intensive business environment, many critical
applications written in A+ have withstood the demands of real world
developers over many years. Written in an interpreted language, A+
applications tend to be portable.
This package contains the binaries and libraries needed to run A+ programs.
The A+ development environment is provided by the aplus-fsf-dev package.
There are three methods to install aplus-fsf on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install aplus-fsf Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install aplus-fsf using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install aplus-fsf using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install aplus-fsf using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install aplus-fsf
How To Uninstall aplus-fsf on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the aplus-fsf package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove aplus-fsf
Uninstall aplus-fsf And Its Dependencies
To uninstall aplus-fsf and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove aplus-fsf
Remove aplus-fsf Configurations and Data
To remove aplus-fsf configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge aplus-fsf
Remove aplus-fsf configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove aplus-fsf configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge aplus-fsf
