What is dbf2mysql
dbf2mysql is:
This program takes an xBase file and sends queries to an MySQL server to
insert it into an MySQL table and vice versa.
This package now consists of two programs: the dbf2mysql, and mysql2dbf,
which makes it possible to dump an mySQL-table to a dbf-file.
There are three methods to install dbf2mysql
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install dbf2mysql Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install dbf2mysql
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install dbf2mysql

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install dbf2mysql
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install dbf2mysql
Install dbf2mysql Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install dbf2mysql
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install dbf2mysql
How To Uninstall dbf2mysql on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the dbf2mysql
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove dbf2mysql
Uninstall dbf2mysql And Its Dependencies
To uninstall dbf2mysql
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove dbf2mysql
Remove dbf2mysql Configurations and Data
To remove dbf2mysql
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge dbf2mysql
Remove dbf2mysql configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove dbf2mysql
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge dbf2mysql
