What is gauche-doc
gauche-doc is:
Gauche is a Scheme implementation developed to be a handy script
interpreter, which allows programmers and system administrators to
write small to large scripts for their daily chores. Quick startup,
built-in system interface, native multilingual support are some of
the author’s goals.
This package contains info documents of the reference manual of Gauche
(English, Japanese).
There are three methods to install gauche-doc on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gauche-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gauche-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gauche-docInstall gauche-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install gauche-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install gauche-docInstall gauche-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gauche-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install gauche-doc
How To Uninstall gauche-doc on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the gauche-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove gauche-doc
Uninstall gauche-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall gauche-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove gauche-doc
Remove gauche-doc Configurations and Data
To remove gauche-doc configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gauche-doc
Remove gauche-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove gauche-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge gauche-doc
