Introduction

on Kali Linux.
What is puppet-module-panko
puppet-module-panko is:
Puppet lets you centrally manage every important aspect of your system using a
cross-platform specification language that manages all the separate elements
normally aggregated in different files, like users, cron jobs, and hosts,
along with obviously discrete elements like packages, services, and files.
This module manages both the installation and configuration of OpenStack
Panko.
There are three methods to install puppet-module-panko
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install puppet-module-panko Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install puppet-module-panko
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install puppet-module-panko
Install puppet-module-panko Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install puppet-module-panko
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install puppet-module-panko
Install puppet-module-panko Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install puppet-module-panko
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install puppet-module-panko
How To Uninstall puppet-module-panko on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the puppet-module-panko
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove puppet-module-panko
Uninstall puppet-module-panko And Its Dependencies
To uninstall puppet-module-panko
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove puppet-module-panko
Remove puppet-module-panko Configurations and Data
To remove puppet-module-panko
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge puppet-module-panko
Remove puppet-module-panko configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove puppet-module-panko
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge puppet-module-panko
