What is 2ping

2ping is:

2ping is a bi-directional ping utility. It uses 3-way pings (akin to
TCP SYN, SYN/ACK, ACK) and after-the-fact state comparison between a
2ping listener and a 2ping client to determine which direction packet
loss occurs.

There are three methods to install 2ping on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install 2ping Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install 2ping using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install 2ping

Install 2ping Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install 2ping using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install 2ping

Install 2ping Using aptitude
