What is acl2-books-certs
acl2-books-certs is:
ACL2 is both a programming language in which you can model computer
systems and a tool to help you prove properties of those models.
This file contains certification records for the various precompiled
libraries supplied in the ACL2-books package. ACL2 essentially
requires that all included books be certified before use.
There are three methods to install acl2-books-certs on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove acl2-books-certs configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge acl2-books-certs
Remove acl2-books-certs configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove acl2-books-certs configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge acl2-books-certs
