Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install advi-examples on Kali Linux.
What is advi-examples
advi-examples is:
Active-DVI is a DVI previewer and presenter written in Objective Caml
with some eye candy effects for presentation, support for interactive
demonstrations, and embedding of arbitrary applications within the
presentation (hence the Active adjective of the presenter :).

There are three methods to install advi-examples on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install advi-examples Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install advi-examples using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install advi-examplesInstall advi-examples Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install advi-examples using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install advi-examplesInstall advi-examples Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install advi-examples using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install advi-examples
How To Uninstall advi-examples on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the advi-examples package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove advi-examples
Uninstall advi-examples And Its Dependencies
To uninstall advi-examples and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove advi-examples
Remove advi-examples Configurations and Data
To remove advi-examples configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge advi-examples
Remove advi-examples configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove advi-examples configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge advi-examples
