What is aj-snapshot
aj-snapshot is:
Aj-snapshot is a small program that can be used to make snapshots
of the connections made between JACK and/or ALSA clients. Because
JACK can provide both audio and MIDI support to programs,
aj-snapshot can store both types of connections for JACK. ALSA,
on the other hand, only provides routing facilities for MIDI clients.
Aj-snapshot is meant to be used from the command line.
There are three methods to install aj-snapshot on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install aj-snapshot Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install aj-snapshot using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install aj-snapshotInstall aj-snapshot Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install aj-snapshot using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install aj-snapshotInstall aj-snapshot Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install aj-snapshot using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install aj-snapshot
How To Uninstall aj-snapshot on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the aj-snapshot package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove aj-snapshot
Uninstall aj-snapshot And Its Dependencies
To uninstall aj-snapshot and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove aj-snapshot
Remove aj-snapshot Configurations and Data
To remove aj-snapshot configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge aj-snapshot
Remove aj-snapshot configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove aj-snapshot configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
