What is album-data
album-data is:
Album is a perl script that can create HTML photo albums for your
directories of images. This package provides themes, plugins and
translations for Album.
The available languages are Catalan, Chinese, Czech, German, Spanish,
French, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Korean, Dutch, Polish, Russian,
Swedish Chef, and Leet Hacker. The original Album package is in English.

There are three methods to install album-data
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install album-data Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install album-data
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install album-data

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install album-data
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install album-data
Install album-data Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install album-data
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install album-data
How To Uninstall album-data on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the album-data
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove album-data
Uninstall album-data And Its Dependencies
To uninstall album-data
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove album-data
Remove album-data Configurations and Data
To remove album-data
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge album-data
Remove album-data configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove album-data
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge album-data
