This package contains ALSA Use Case Manager configuration of audio
input/output names and routing for specific audio hardware. They can be

ALSA is the Advanced Linux Sound Architecture.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install alsa-ucm-conf
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install alsa-ucm-conf
How To Uninstall alsa-ucm-conf on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the alsa-ucm-conf
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove alsa-ucm-conf
Uninstall alsa-ucm-conf And Its Dependencies
To uninstall alsa-ucm-conf
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove alsa-ucm-conf

To remove alsa-ucm-conf
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge alsa-ucm-conf
Remove alsa-ucm-conf configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove alsa-ucm-conf
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge alsa-ucm-conf
