How To Install altree-examples on Kali Linux

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install altree-examples on Kali Linux.

What is altree-examples

altree-examples is:

ALTree was designed to perform association detection and localization of
susceptibility sites using haplotype phylogenetic trees: first, it allows the
detection of an association between a candidate gene and a disease, and second,
it enables to make hypothesis about the susceptibility loci.

This package contains the example files for the ALTree package discussed in
its PDF manual.

There are three methods to install altree-examples on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install altree-examples Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install altree-examples using apt-get by running the following command:
