What is amqp-specs
amqp-specs is:
AMQP is the Internet Protocol for Business Messaging
The Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) is an open standard for
passing business messages between applications or organizations. It
connects systems, feeds business processes with the information they
need and reliably transmits onward the instructions that achieve their
goals.
This package provides current and legacy AMQP protocol specifications,
needed by some implementations.
There are three methods to install amqp-specs
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install amqp-specs Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install amqp-specs
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install amqp-specs
Install amqp-specs Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install amqp-specs
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install amqp-specs
Install amqp-specs Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install amqp-specs
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install amqp-specs
How To Uninstall amqp-specs on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the amqp-specs
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove amqp-specs
Uninstall amqp-specs And Its Dependencies
To uninstall amqp-specs
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove amqp-specs
Remove amqp-specs Configurations and Data
To remove amqp-specs
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge amqp-specs
Remove amqp-specs configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove amqp-specs
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge amqp-specs
