What is antlr4-doc
antlr4-doc is:
ANTLR (ANother Tool for Language Recognition) is a powerful parser generator
for reading, processing, executing, or translating structured text or binary
files. It’s widely used to build languages, tools, and frameworks. From a
grammar, ANTLR generates a parser that can build and walk parse trees.
This package provides the API documentation for ANTLR 4.
There are three methods to install antlr4-doc on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install antlr4-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install antlr4-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install antlr4-docInstall antlr4-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install antlr4-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install antlr4-docInstall antlr4-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install antlr4-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install antlr4-doc
How To Uninstall antlr4-doc on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the antlr4-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove antlr4-doc
Uninstall antlr4-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall antlr4-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove antlr4-doc
Remove antlr4-doc Configurations and Data
To remove antlr4-doc configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge antlr4-doc
Remove antlr4-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove antlr4-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge antlr4-doc
