on Kali Linux.
What is apitrace-tracers
apitrace-tracers is:
apitrace is a suite of tools for debugging OpenGL applications and drivers.
It includes a tool to generate a trace of all the OpenGL calls an application
makes and a tool for replaying these traces and inspecting the rendering and
OpenGL state during the program’s execution.
This makes it useful for identifying the sources of graphical corruption in
OpenGL applications.
This package contains the components required to trace the OpenGL calls made
by an application and record them into a trace file for later replay and
debugging.
There are three methods to install apitrace-tracers
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install apitrace-tracers Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install apitrace-tracers
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install apitrace-tracers
Install apitrace-tracers Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install apitrace-tracers
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install apitrace-tracers
Install apitrace-tracers Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install apitrace-tracers
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install apitrace-tracers
How To Uninstall apitrace-tracers on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the apitrace-tracers
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove apitrace-tracers
Uninstall apitrace-tracers And Its Dependencies
To uninstall apitrace-tracers
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove apitrace-tracers
Remove apitrace-tracers Configurations and Data
To remove apitrace-tracers
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge apitrace-tracers
Remove apitrace-tracers configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove apitrace-tracers
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge apitrace-tracers
