In this tutorial we learn how to install argonaut-ldap2zone on Kali Linux.
What is argonaut-ldap2zone
argonaut-ldap2zone is:
Client / server system for managing systems in collaboration with
FusionDirectory (LDAP directory manager). Argonaut also allows interface
with deployment tools such as FAI (Fully Automated Install) or OPSI (Open
PC Server Integration).
This is a tool that reads info for a zone from LDAP and constructs
a standard plain ASCII zone file. The LDAP information has to be
stored using the dnszone LDAP schema.
This package contains the argonaut-client module and the standalone command.
There are three methods to install argonaut-ldap2zone on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install argonaut-ldap2zone Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

How To Uninstall argonaut-ldap2zone on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the argonaut-ldap2zone package we can use the following command:

To uninstall argonaut-ldap2zone and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

To remove argonaut-ldap2zone configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge argonaut-ldap2zone
