on CentOS 8.
What is atari800
Atari800 is an emulator for the 800, 800XL, 130XE and 5200 models of the Atari personal computer. It can be used on console, FrameBuffer or X11. It features excellent compatibility, HIFI sound support, artifacting emulation, precise cycle-exact ANTIC/GTIA emulation and more.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install atari800
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install atari800.
Install atari800 on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install atari800
Install atari800 on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.

How To Uninstall atari800 on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the atari800
