What is bart-cuda
bart-cuda is:
The Berkeley Advanced Reconstruction Toolbox (BART) is a free and
open-source image-reconstruction framework for Computational Magnetic
Resonance Imaging. It consists of a programming library and a toolbox
of command-line programs. The library provides common operations on
multi-dimensional arrays, Fourier and wavelet transforms, as well as
generic implementations of iterative optimization algorithms. The
command-line tools provide direct access to basic operations on
multi-dimensional arrays as well as efficient implementations of
many calibration and reconstruction algorithms for parallel imaging
and compressed sensing.
This package provides BART with CUDA support.
There are three methods to install bart-cuda on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install bart-cuda Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install bart-cuda using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install bart-cuda
Install bart-cuda Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install bart-cuda using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install bart-cuda
Install bart-cuda Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install bart-cuda using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install bart-cuda
How To Uninstall bart-cuda on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the bart-cuda package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove bart-cuda
Uninstall bart-cuda And Its Dependencies
To uninstall bart-cuda and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove bart-cuda
Remove bart-cuda Configurations and Data
To remove bart-cuda configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge bart-cuda
Remove bart-cuda configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove bart-cuda configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge bart-cuda
