on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is beignet-opencl-icd
beignet-opencl-icd is:
OpenCL (Open Computing Language) is a multivendor open standard for
general-purpose parallel programming of heterogeneous systems that include
CPUs, GPUs and other processors.
This package contains the shared library for an Intel implementation,
for the integrated GPUs of ix-3xxx (Ivy Bridge) and ix-4xxx (Haswell)
Intel Core and Atom processors.
It also supports newer hardware (up to Coffee Lake), but for these
intel-opencl-icd is likely to be a better option.
There are three methods to install beignet-opencl-icd
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install beignet-opencl-icd
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install beignet-opencl-icd
How To Uninstall beignet-opencl-icd on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the beignet-opencl-icd
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove beignet-opencl-icd
Uninstall beignet-opencl-icd And Its Dependencies
To uninstall beignet-opencl-icd
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove beignet-opencl-icd
Remove beignet-opencl-icd Configurations and Data
To remove beignet-opencl-icd
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge beignet-opencl-icd
Remove beignet-opencl-icd configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove beignet-opencl-icd
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge beignet-opencl-icd
