Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install bitmap-fangsongti-fonts
on CentOS 8.
What is bitmap-fangsongti-fonts
bitmap-fonts-cjk package contains bitmap fonts used by Anaconda. They are selected from the xorg packages, and the font encoding are converted from native encoding to ISO10646. They are only intended to be used in Anaconda.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install bitmap-fangsongti-fonts
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install bitmap-fangsongti-fonts.
Install bitmap-fangsongti-fonts on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install bitmap-fangsongti-fonts
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install bitmap-fangsongti-fonts

How To Uninstall bitmap-fangsongti-fonts on CentOS 8
