Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install boost-graph-openmpi
on CentOS 8.
What is boost-graph-openmpi
Run-time support for the Parallel BGL graph library. The interface and graph components are generic, in the same sense as the Standard Template Library (STL). We can use yum
or dnf
to install boost-graph-openmpi
on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install boost-graph-openmpi.
Install boost-graph-openmpi on CentOS 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install boost-graph-openmpi
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install boost-graph-openmpi
Install boost-graph-openmpi on CentOS 8 Using yum

How To Uninstall boost-graph-openmpi on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the boost-graph-openmpi
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove boost-graph-openmpi
