What is calligrawords
calligrawords is:
Words is a FrameMaker-like word processing and desktop publishing
application. It is capable of creating polished and professional
looking documents. It can be used for desktop publishing, but also for
“normal†word processing, like writing letters, reports and so on.
This package is part of the Calligra Suite.
There are three methods to install calligrawords
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install calligrawords Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install calligrawords
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install calligrawords

Update apt database with apt

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install calligrawords

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude

sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install calligrawords
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install calligrawords
How To Uninstall calligrawords on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the calligrawords
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove calligrawords
Uninstall calligrawords And Its Dependencies
To uninstall calligrawords
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove calligrawords
Remove calligrawords Configurations and Data
To remove calligrawords
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge calligrawords
Remove calligrawords configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
