What is cdbackup
cdbackup is:
cdbackup and cdrestore are a pair of utilities designed to facilitate
streaming backup to and from CD-R(W) disks. Specifically, they were
designed to work with dump/restore, but tar/cpio/whatever you want should
work, so long as it writes to stdout for backups and reads from stdin for
restores.
There are three methods to install cdbackup
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

using aptitude

How To Uninstall cdbackup on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the cdbackup
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove cdbackup
Uninstall cdbackup And Its Dependencies
To uninstall cdbackup
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove cdbackup
Remove cdbackup Configurations and Data

configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge cdbackup
