What is crawl-tiles
crawl-tiles is:
Crawl is a fun game in the grand tradition of games like Rogue, Hack, and
Moria. Your objective is to travel deep into a subterranean cave complex and
retrieve the Orb of Zot, which is guarded by many horrible and hideous
creatures.
This is the graphical (tiles) version.
This is the Stone Soup version of Dungeon Crawl.
There are three methods to install crawl-tiles on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install crawl-tiles Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install crawl-tiles using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install crawl-tilesInstall crawl-tiles Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install crawl-tiles using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install crawl-tilesInstall crawl-tiles Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install crawl-tiles using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install crawl-tiles
How To Uninstall crawl-tiles on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the crawl-tiles package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove crawl-tiles
Uninstall crawl-tiles And Its Dependencies
To uninstall crawl-tiles and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove crawl-tiles
Remove crawl-tiles Configurations and Data
To remove crawl-tiles configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge crawl-tiles
Remove crawl-tiles configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove crawl-tiles configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge crawl-tiles
