What is crossbuild-essential-mips
crossbuild-essential-mips is:
If you do not plan to cross build Debian packages, you don’t need
this package. Starting with sbuild (>= 0.63.0) this package is
required for cross building Debian packages in a chroot.
This package contains an informational list of packages which are
considered essential for cross building Debian packages. This
package also depends on the packages on that list, to make it easy to
have the cross-build-essential packages installed.
If you have this package installed, you only need to install whatever
a package specifies as its build-time dependencies to cross build the
package. Conversely, if you are determining what your package needs
to build-depend on, you can always leave out the packages this
package depends on.
There are three methods to install crossbuild-essential-mips on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install crossbuild-essential-mips Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install crossbuild-essential-mips using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install crossbuild-essential-mips
How To Uninstall crossbuild-essential-mips on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the crossbuild-essential-mips package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove crossbuild-essential-mips

To uninstall crossbuild-essential-mips and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
