What is cube2font
cube2font is:
cube2font is a utility program designed to create font bitmaps for Cube
Engine games, it works by taking a Truetype font and building it into a
set of coordinates in an image. cube2font is an improved version of the
previous TTF2Font, supporting a much larger range of characters.
There are three methods to install cube2font on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cube2font Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install cube2font using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install cube2fontInstall cube2font Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install cube2font using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install cube2fontInstall cube2font Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install cube2font using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install cube2font
How To Uninstall cube2font on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the cube2font package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove cube2font
Uninstall cube2font And Its Dependencies
To uninstall cube2font and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove cube2font
Remove cube2font Configurations and Data
To remove cube2font configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge cube2font
Remove cube2font configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove cube2font configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge cube2font
