What is cyclades-serial-client
cyclades-serial-client is:
This is the client for network serial port emulation via the RFC 2217
protocol as used by Cyclades terminal servers and other products. It
consists of a daemon that manages a pseudo-tty and a shared object to take
over the tcsetattr() and tcsendbreak() library calls to redirect their
functionality over the network.
There are three methods to install cyclades-serial-client on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install cyclades-serial-client Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install cyclades-serial-client using apt-get by running the following command:

How To Uninstall cyclades-serial-client on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the cyclades-serial-client package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove cyclades-serial-client
Uninstall cyclades-serial-client And Its Dependencies
To uninstall cyclades-serial-client and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove cyclades-serial-client
Remove cyclades-serial-client Configurations and Data
To remove cyclades-serial-client configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge cyclades-serial-client
