on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is fonts-eurofurence
fonts-eurofurence is:
Eurofurence is a family of fonts designed 1995-2000 by Tobias Köhler,
originally for a convention these fonts are namesake of.
Provided variants are:
- eurofurence (regular, bold, italic, bold italic) — meant for
signs, badges or text headings. - eurofurence classic (regular, bold, italic, bold italic, light, light
italic) — Futura-like, appropriate for body text. - unifur (regular only) — ascender/descender-less, titles and logos only.
A monospaced variant, “monofurâ€, is provided as a separate package.
There are three methods to install fonts-eurofurence
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

sudo apt-get update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install fonts-eurofurence
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install fonts-eurofurence
How To Uninstall fonts-eurofurence on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the fonts-eurofurence
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove fonts-eurofurence
Uninstall fonts-eurofurence And Its Dependencies
To uninstall fonts-eurofurence
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fonts-eurofurence
Remove fonts-eurofurence Configurations and Data
To remove fonts-eurofurence
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fonts-eurofurence
Remove fonts-eurofurence configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove fonts-eurofurence
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge fonts-eurofurence
