fonts-sil-akatab is:
Akatab is a TrueType font for the Tifinagh script with smart font capabilities
added using state-of-the-art font technologies. This means that complex
typographic issues such as the placement of combining marks or the formation
of ligatures are handled by the font, provided you are running an application
that provides an adequate level of support for one of these smart font
technologies.

There are three methods to install fonts-sil-akatab on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install fonts-sil-akatab using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fonts-sil-akatab
Install fonts-sil-akatab Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install fonts-sil-akatab using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install fonts-sil-akatab
Install fonts-sil-akatab Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install fonts-sil-akatab using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install fonts-sil-akatab
How To Uninstall fonts-sil-akatab on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the fonts-sil-akatab package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove fonts-sil-akatab
Uninstall fonts-sil-akatab And Its Dependencies
To uninstall fonts-sil-akatab and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fonts-sil-akatab

To remove fonts-sil-akatab configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fonts-sil-akatab
Remove fonts-sil-akatab configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove fonts-sil-akatab configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge fonts-sil-akatab
