completely portable RunTime Library (RTL) available on many platforms and
compatible with Turbo Pascal, along with a platform-independent class-based
Free Component Library (FCL) adding many Delphi extensions and interfacing
with many popular open source libraries.
This dependency package always depends on the latest available version of
the package containing the RunTime Libraries for the Free Pascal Compiler.
There are three methods to install fp-units-rtl on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fp-units-rtl Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install fp-units-rtl using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fp-units-rtl
Install fp-units-rtl Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install fp-units-rtl using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install fp-units-rtl
Install fp-units-rtl Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install fp-units-rtl using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install fp-units-rtl
How To Uninstall fp-units-rtl on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the fp-units-rtl package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove fp-units-rtl
Uninstall fp-units-rtl And Its Dependencies
To uninstall fp-units-rtl and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fp-units-rtl
Remove fp-units-rtl Configurations and Data
To remove fp-units-rtl configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fp-units-rtl
Remove fp-units-rtl configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove fp-units-rtl configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge fp-units-rtl
