What is hopm

hopm is:

HOPM (Hybrid Open Proxy Monitor) is an open-proxy monitoring bot designed to
monitor an individual server (all servers on the network have to run their own
bot if the IRCD does not support farconnect user mode) with a local
operator {} block and monitor connections. When a client connects to a server,
HOPM will scan the connection for insecure proxies. Insecure proxies are
determined by attempting to connect the proxy back to another host (usually the
IRC server in question).

There are three methods to install hopm on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install hopm Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install hopm using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install hopm

Install hopm Using apt

After updating apt database, We can install hopm using apt by running the following command:

To remove hopm configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge hopm

We can use the following command to remove hopm configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
