What is ibus-table-telex
ibus-table-telex is:
IBus is an Intelligent Input Bus. It is a new input framework for the Linux
OS. It provides full featured and user friendly input method user interface.
It also may help developers to develop input method easily.
This package provide one input method: Telex.
Telex is a Vietnamese input method.
There are three methods to install ibus-table-telex on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ibus-table-telex Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ibus-table-telex using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ibus-table-telex
Install ibus-table-telex Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ibus-table-telex using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ibus-table-telex
Install ibus-table-telex Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ibus-table-telex using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ibus-table-telex
How To Uninstall ibus-table-telex on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the ibus-table-telex package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ibus-table-telex
Uninstall ibus-table-telex And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ibus-table-telex and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ibus-table-telex
Remove ibus-table-telex Configurations and Data
To remove ibus-table-telex configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ibus-table-telex
Remove ibus-table-telex configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ibus-table-telex configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ibus-table-telex
