In this tutorial we learn how to install libgda-5.0-bin on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is libgda-5.0-bin
libgda-5.0-bin is:
libgda is a (relatively small) database abstraction/access library
integrated on the GLib object model. It can be used as a metadata
extractor, to get information about all database objects in a common
way, and as an ODBC-like wrapper to access data in different engines
through an easier API.
This package contains binary files for libgda.

After updating apt database, We can install libgda-5.0-bin using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libgda-5.0-bin
How To Uninstall libgda-5.0-bin on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the libgda-5.0-bin package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libgda-5.0-bin
Uninstall libgda-5.0-bin And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libgda-5.0-bin and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libgda-5.0-bin
Remove libgda-5.0-bin Configurations and Data
To remove libgda-5.0-bin configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libgda-5.0-bin
Remove libgda-5.0-bin configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libgda-5.0-bin configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libgda-5.0-bin
